Amy is my wife, and to know her is to love her. Educated in journalism and nursing, she is a woman of strong opinions and who works hard for the greater good. She is nurturing and creative, and I think that quilt making is an embodiment of both these qualities. Quilts are a medium of self expression that keeps us warm and protected. Amy arrived more recently to the world of quilting, but you would not know it by the her level of craft and the depth of her color sensibility. She has had a long time apreciation of quilts, and takes inspiration from a friend of the family named Easter, who’s work she admired during her formative years. The path of creativity is long and winding, it doesn’t always appear to be linear, until the dots are connected. There is more she can tell us, as her quilts unfurl!
